For a similar purpose to the above, we use technologies to learn more about the people who make a purchase or visit our website. For this purpose, we collect certain information (such as your name or email address) about your purchase and share it securely (through technologies such as hash encryption) with Google using Google’s « Enhanced Conversions » technology. You can find more information about this technology here. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in order to perform more detailed analytics on purchases on our website. In this sense, Casa Batlló’s interest is to know more details about the users who make a purchase on our site, this technology being necessary for this purpose. Similarly, the data used are the necessary data, as they are those entered by the user in the purchase and will be secured through a hash function to be sent to Google. To use this functionality, Google will use certain information from your Google login, so you can configure the use of your data through your options in your Google account (accessing your profile, within the data and privacy option).

If you visit the facilities, located at Paseo de Gracia nº 43, 4º, 08007, Barcelona, your image will be recorded for video surveillance purposes in order to guarantee the protection, conservation and security of its facilities. To this end, you will be able to see a first layer of information by means of easily identifiable signs. The legitimate basis for the processing of the image is the fulfilment of a mission carried out in the public interest, insofar as Casa Batlló, as a National Historic-Artistic Monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site, has the obligation to protect and conserve its installations.

Your image may also be recorded in order to control the capacity of the facilities, so that Casa Batlló can control the large number of visitors received annually. The legitimisation of this processing is the legitimate interest of Casa Batlló in complying with Royal Decree 112/2010, of 31 August, approving the Regulations on Public Shows and Recreational Activities, which imposes the obligation to control capacity and the appropriate management of the risks derived from the volume of visitors. To this end, the interests, freedoms and rights of those affected have been weighed up, with Casa Batlló’s legitimate interest in fulfilling its obligations and guaranteeing the safety of its facilities due to the high occupancy that may occur prevailing. You can object to both of these processes by the means made available to you in the section RIGHTS OF THE DATA HOLDER.

TYPES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The use of certain services or functionalities of the Website requires you to provide certain personal data, indicated on the corresponding forms, and implies their processing for the purposes indicated in each case.

The data will not be shared with third parties and will be processed for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose motivating the processing, remaining duly blocked once completed.

RETENTION PERIOD OF PERSONAL DATA

Casa Batlló will only keep personal data for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, as long as the consent granted is not revoked, and for the duration of your relationship with Casa Batlló. Regarding the images captured in our facilities, they will be kept for a maximum period of one month.

Subsequently, if necessary, Casa Batlló will continue to keep the data duly blocked, in order to attend to any legal liabilities arising from the processing and until the legally established limitation period.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

Personal data may be communicated to the following entities:

• Insofar as it is a contractual requirement, they will be communicated to service providers who help us to carry out our business, e.g. courier companies, online payment platforms, IT tools, technical support services, etc.
• Where necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to public administrations, judges, courts, etc.
• To those persons or entities to whom you consent to your data being communicated.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Right of rectification and deletion:

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data provided that the legal requirements are met, and the rectification of inaccurate data when, among other reasons, they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.

Limitation of processing, revocation of consent and total or partial objection to processing:

In certain circumstances (e.g. in the event of a challenge to the accuracy of the data, while the accuracy of the data is being verified), a request may be made to restrict the processing of personal data, which will only be processed for the exercise or defence of claims.
