Alone, with your family or your friends. Casa Batlló won't let you go indiferetnt.
Casa Batlló receives hundreds of visitors every day, all drawn for different reasons and all with different expectations. The experience is unique for each visitor to the Modernista building designed by Antoni Gaudí, whether they are alone, with family, with friends or with a partner. If you still haven’t visited it because you are not sure if it would appeal to you, why not read some of the comments left by visitors in this post.
« This house left us without words », summed up @mrllcknr in Instagram after visiting Casa Batlló with her friends from Vienna last September. Like her, many visitors go to the museum accompanied by groups of friends. « One of our friends had already been with her family and she recommended a visit. We were right. We were amazed at the history and curiosities found in the house! », explained this visitor on social networks.

Casa Batlló, like other modernist works by Gaudí, arose from the fascination by the architect for nature, and for this reason some parts of the house bring to mind marine creatures. Many of these animals come to life in our Smart Guide in augmented reality that helps children to understand the curiosities created by Gaudí. « The audio guide helped us so much to understand Gaudí’s genius », explained @sabrisur20. This Argentinian lady who came with her family to visit Casa Batlló, enjoyed the architecture of Gaudí together with her husband and children of 3 and 6 years old.
But, if you would like to surprise someone special, Casa Batlló is also one of the most romantic places in Barcelona. Apart from the night events and concerts staged in Casa Batlló, the Azotea (roof) and the Balcón de la Princesa (Princess’s Balcony) are a favourite place for couples to take photos. « We are Italian and we are visiting Casa Batlló because we love Gaudí and his art. Casa Batlló was a good choice », explains @alice_fortuna.
Regardless of who you visit Casa Batlló with, the discovery of this Modernist jewel by Gaudí leaves no one indifferent. This is how @piliegea expressed her emotion when she discovered the secrets of this genius: « Visiting Casa Batlló is like entering a parallel world. A world where winding ceramic curves breathe life into the building. A world where architecture comes alive and accompanies us during our visit. It’s like going back to childhood and walking into a fairy tale. »
