New edition of #MuseumWeek, the week of museums on Twitter
Cultural institutions and museums around the world share information focused on seven themes for a period of one week.
From March 28 to April 3 museums around the world will again have an appointment on Twitter. Beyond the information that each museum and cultural institution offers on Twitter daily, #MuseumWeek action allows museums to talk about a specific topic each day, so you can learn different perspectives about the same topic from different museums around the world.
The themes chosen by popular vote, for this edition range from the secrets of the institution, the celebrities who have visited the establishment and also a tribute to those who work in each institution. What is more there will be a day dedicated to architecture, to tell the story of the building, another day dedicated to cultural heritage in order to find out the content of each institution. Finally there are three innovative themes, #futureMW, Friday 1 April shows some innovative projects, challenges, research proposals and institutional challenges, Saturday 2 April #zoomMW to discover the content of the pieces of work, details and anecdotes of each establishment. To finish off this incredible Museum Week, Sunday April 3 will be dedicated to #loveMW to show what makes each institution unique.
Certainly a great opportunity to understand the cultural institutions better and to celebrate cultural presence on this social network. Casa Batllo has everything ready, so we encourage you to start preparing your questions for this presitigous house. To participate you only have to indicate the question or comment in your tweets, along with the hashtag for each day and mention @CasaBatlloGaudi.
