We are 200,000 Casa Batlló lovers on Facebook!
Casa Batlló has a digital presence that shows the user this modernist peice of work from different points of view.
For many years now, Casa Batlló has had is very clear that new technologies are the key tool to continue reaching the public. Our values, modernist details, the distance traveled, and the sensitivity of Gaudí have been our benchmarks for the presence of Casa Batlló online all over the world.
The Constant adaptation that has taken place, for example, Casa Batlló was the first museum in Spain to join the new social network Snapchat, creating a trend within the sector. In reference to Facebook, this includes one of the great milestones achieved over the last 12 months that was the photo of the facade of the house full of roses in order to celebrate a very special Saint George´s day. This photo literally went around the world, getting more than 66,000 “likes” and being shared by up to 22,000 times. In addition, it was named by the media as “the picture of Saint George´s day 2016”. Other relevant actions through Facebook in recent months have been #makeheritagefun contests, the night of the Museums or the recent Tea ceremony
where we gave away tickets to our fans. Contests made to continue to bring this modernistic gem to the public.
The daily life of the institution, secrets and curios things about Gaudi´s treasure and at the same time, developments in the different visits, these are the subjects that fill our social networks each day and have helped us get 200,000 followers on Facebook as of today. What is more it is that just a year ago that we were celebrating 100,000 fans on Facebook and today we have twice as many!
For all this time and for every new like, comment, share, from all of us at Casa Batlló we thank you for following us every day. Your experience in the visit, the emotions awakened inside you, your feedback and opinions are of great importance to further improvements that help us to create an unforgettable experience. If through Facebook, and other social networks, we can make the magic of Gaudí continue to reach your devices, we are more than satisfied.
To get to know you better, a few days ago we launched a survey, in order to get to know you our fans and public better. Also to find out what content you expect, what is the reason you follow us or from where do you enjoy this modernist gem. Among all the participants, two people have been contacted by email as winners and these winners have recieved a fast pass entrance for 2 people. On Thursday to physically celebrate this milestone, we will fill Casa Batlló with blue balloons, balloons that also all the visitors will be given and at 4pm can be followed through Facebook Live as they are dropped down through the inner courtyard.
200.000 thanks and more for those that are still yet to come!
