The Modernist streetlamp allying with the facade of Casa Batllo was the winner of March's #Photocontest
As if touched by a magic wand, the facade of the Casa Batllo looks like it has been sprayed with gold from the vision of @davidxbarcelona to shine out as winner of March's edition of #Photocontest.
Casa Batlló’s facade , is the most photographed part of the House, and is once again the protagonist. This time, it stands out as March’s winner of the very popular #Photocontest thanks to snapshot taken by @davidxbarcelona, a citizen from Barcelona, who describes himself in his Instagram profile as “addicted to photography via my mobile”.
The winning image, combines the modernist street lights by Pere Falqués i Urpí, on Paseo de Gracia, dating from 1906, the year in which the work on Casa Batllo finished, with the golden facade of the modernist gem, on a Sunday afternoon in March.
During the month of March many contestants participated in this edition of #Photocontest sharing a massive 450 imagesunder the contest´s hashtags: #photocontest and #casabatllo. All in order to win the Fujifilm XA2, at the hand of Fujifilm and Casanova.
We encourage everyone to continue sharing your photos on Twitter and Instagram each month and participants continue to surprise the jury and discovering views and hidden corners of the Casa Batllo. @davidxbarcelona Congratulations!
