This year the Barcelona Guide Bureau (BGB) and Casa Batlló have teamed up to support the TV3 Marathon.
As every year The TV3 Marathon dedicates a weekend week to more or less common diseases in order to raise funds for their research and treatment and to make life easier for those who suffer from them. This year La Marató is focused on stroke and traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries. The Marató takes place, not only during the next weekend, but also the days before and even after December 17 and 18, more than 2,000 activities will be carried out around Catalonia in order to raise funds.
Thanks to the BGB volunteer guides who will be making the one-hour visits over the next weekend and also thanks to Casa Batlló’s decision to put tickets on sale at a reduced price of €10, we hope that this action will be very successful and that we can contribute our bit to La Marató de TV3.
All that is collected during the days 17 and 18 with the sale of the 475 tickets at €10 will go entirely to La Marató de TV3. In addition, BGB will donate €3 more for each ticket sold.
