Small giant artists win the children’s picture competition at Casa Batlló
Last Saturday the 10th of October took the European Heritage Days as the motive to organise a series of activities to celebrate this day with the family.
First the ten winners of the Children’s competition “Casa Batlló: What do you see? What to you imagine?” accompanied by their families visited a play written and directed by dramaturge Albert Tola, which delighted the fortunate.
Afterwards the jury of Casa Batlló including Ms. Nina Bernat, Ms. Pilarín Bayés, Mr. Josep María Civit, Mr. Xano Armenterand and Mr. Lourdez Ibarz, who represented the Patrimonio de la Generalitat presented the fantastic prices to the small giant artists while they could enjoy the exposition of more than 400 drawings recieved in this third edition of the competition.
At the same time, at the entrance of Casa Batlló and from ten o’clock in the morning Draclló, the sympatic mascot of the house greeted all kids that came to Passeig de Gracia number 43. Young and old could let their imagination fly to create with an extraordinary ingenuity the facade of Casa Batlló on a gret canvas. This activity, open to everybody who liked the approach was guided by social communicator and illustrator Daniela Violi.
Casa Batlló wished to thank all children, as well as teachers and schools involved for their participation in this third edition of the children’s competition. You are geniuses and Antoni Gaudí would be very proud of you! Congratulations!
